What geographic areas do you cover?
A: We cover everywhere from Collingwood to Toronto's Lakeshore and Brooklin to Grimsby and everything in between. Here's a map of the area we cover highlighted in green. If you're not sure, call us to confirm.
Do you warranty your work?
A: Yes, all work performed by Fine Finish is covered by a lifetime warranty on the installation. The warranty is fully transferable to any new property owners as well.
Is your company doing the work or are you using subcontractors?
A: We only use certified and company trained in-house tradesmen. The only time we will bring in a sub-trade is if it's not in our skill set or are not licensed to perform the work i.e. plumbing, electrical....etc.
How do you determine pricing?
A: Every estimate is customized. For pricing, we rely on the square/linear footage and materials required, plus labour.
I need this project done right away, can you start this week?
A: NO! We generally require at least 2 weeks’ notice for winter projects and 1-2 months’ notice the rest of the year. Tip: A contractor who's ready to go right away "waiting for your call" isn't generally someone you want working on your project.
Are you insured and bonded?
A: Yes, all of our men are fully bonded. We carry $5,000,000.00 in liability insurance and are fully compliant and up to date with WSIB/source deductions. We don’t take chances with your biggest investment: your home.
Can you apply a layer of drywall over an existing ceiling instead of removing the stipple?
A: NO! We will never apply a second layer of drywall. It's a lazy, dangerous and improper practice.
How do you protect my current flooring while working in my home or office?
A: We use a proprietary 3 layer protection system so you can be sure your floor is protected. This protective system is designed to protect your floor from abrasion, dust, and impacts. The 3 layers are made of:
❖ Top Layer: Dust stop layer - keeps abrasive dust and grit off your floor. ❖ Middle Layer: Hard protective layer - hard-core serious protection for your floors. ❖ Bottom Layer: Cushion protective layer - keeps your floor safe from any impacts .

We utilize a dust-free sanding system via wet-sand technique or mechanical extraction. Our system is so good that it provides a 95% Dust Free environment for you and your family.
We care about your home so much that we've developed our 3 Level Shield Floor Protection System to ensure that your floor looks as good when we're done as it did when we started.
What are your working hours?
A: We generally work 9am-5pm unless our client requires special accommodation. Sometimes supplies are dropped off the evening before a project begins. We are on your job every day until it’s complete.
